Welcome to Pinfold Pottery
I’m glad you’ve found Pinfold Pottery online and I hope that you enjoy finding out a bit more about my work and why I make pots.
Since about 2008, I’ve been designing and making ceramic garden planters and other outdoors pots in my studio (aka the shed) near Penrith. I’ve developed a common thread to my style that combines clay, colours and surface textures. My work is made from a gritty stoneware clay that has an honest feel to it and people seem to like it for their homes and gardens as it’s both attractive and robust.
I sell my work via three main channels:
through a network of stockists, mainly galleries and small retailers;
at events, ranging from Potfests and craft fairs to garden festivals; and
via this website where people can see the work in my Portfolio and then get in touch to discuss online sales or a specific commission.
There’s not really a lot more to say. I hope that the words and pictures in these pages show you how I work and tell you a bit more about my unique pots. And, if you’ve any questions at all, I’d love to hear from you.
Thanks and best wishes,
